Alright, a little bit about myself and my blog…
Writing has been something I learned to enjoy early in life. At thirteen I began keeping a daily journal. I used spiral-bound notebooks and wrote as much or as little as I needed every day. Each entry was started with the day of the week, month, date, and year in red ink. I then switched to a black or blue pen and wrote out my thoughts for the day. This might have been a simple commentary on the day's happenings, or I might have spilled my deepest emotions.
I faithfully developed this habit for more than a decade. Then I married Tina, my unnoticed classmate of 8 years. At that time I began sharing my day's experiences with her and have unfortunately dropped the habit of journaling. Around the same time, I was also doing some editing work for PathWay Publishers and even authored a story or two that got published.
However, with our move to Indiana, writing took the backseat for a number of years. In the back of my mind, I believed that someday I would get back to writing, sometime I needed to share my story -- write a book.
In recent weeks (spring 2023), I felt a strong nudge that I need to write, just begin writing, and allow things to develop from there. In sharing my story I find writing has a healing effect on my heart, you are welcome to come along for the journey.
Warmly,
Jason
